Adding Paul Harris Fellows

The prestigious Paul Harris Fellowshio award is given to Rotarians who have attained $1,000 or more in donations to support the work of Rotary International.

Our club is working on a goal of having all our members become Paul Harris Fellows. At recent meetings some of our newer members have been awarded this status.

Hunger Walk
The 5th Annual Rotary Hunger Walk will be held September 28 this year to raise awareness about the food insecurity on the mountain. The goal is to raise money to help CAC and Morton Memorial Food Banks in their efforts to provide food for those in need.

Pictured above, from Left to Right - Lee Harmon - President Monteagle-Sewanee Rotary Club, Betty Carpenter - Director CAC, Amy Wilson - Director Food Ministry Morton Memorial UMC, and Rich Wyckoff - Rotarian.

Betty and Amy were recently presented checks for $2,000 from the final proceeds of the 2017 Hunger Walk. Each organization had previously received $7,000 from the 2017 Hunger Walk.
